Softshare Delta 5.0 Licensing Overview
Softshare Delta 5.0 (the standard or enterprise version) is sold as two components: Delta Studio and Delta Engine.
Softshare Delta 5.0 Studio
Delta Studio is the design component of Delta. It’s from this interface that developers will access, configure, manage, administer, and develop all data translation maps. You’ll be able to test and debug maps in Delta Studio, but this is not where they’ll be executed from within a production environment.
Softshare Delta 5.0 Engine
Delta Engine is required to execute the maps developed in Delta Studio. As such, Delta Engine is typically installed on the server, whereas Delta Studio typically resides on a developer’s workstation.
Upon Upgrade to Delta 5.0
Upon upgrade, current Delta users will automatically receive one Delta Studio and one Delta Engine license. Additional engine and studio licenses may be purchased as needed.
